		M.D. Hennessy My art making spans some thirty years. I have worked in many mediums but for the past seven years I have been developing life size, tall, thin, human forms made from plaster bandages, bamboo and found objects. These sculptural pieces start with shoes I discover at Thrift stores. The figures are brightly painted, exhibit a sense of humour and often make a statement in response to the world around me. 	Leanne Dyck Although, Leanne has written all her life, it was not until she moved to Mayne Island that she began to describe herself as a writer. 	Cathy Ford A prolific and thought provoking poet who has 7 books of poetry in print at present. Although Cathy is not physically on the island these days, her spirit is definitely here.
	Terry Glavin is a bi-weekly columnist for the Georgia Straight. His books include- A Death Feast in Dimlahamid, Nemiah:the Unconquered Country, A Ghost in the Water, This Ragged Place, & A Voice Great Within us (with Charles Lillard). Terry also edits a series of books about this part of the world called Transmontanus. 	Robert Harlow  Has so far published eight novels. His newest book, Necessary Dark, is semi-autobiographical, and is based partially on his WWll experience as a bomber pilot. In February 2002 it will be made available through the new Print-On-Demand technology, widely thought to be the way more and more books will be published as time goes on. 	Amber Harvey Amber published her first juvenile novel in 2007, after moving to Mayne Island. The Magda books are mystery/adventures for boys and girls in the middle grades. Magda’s Mayne Island Mystery and Mayne Island Aliens are at Miners Bay Books and other bookstores in the Gulf Islands. A third book in the series is due in 2011. 	Celia A. Leamon After Celia moved from England to Canada in 1980, she was published in the UK, Canada, the United States and South Africa. She wrote and co-directed an English farce that was performed on Galiano Island, BC, and now writes novels that are published by Twilight Times Books. Celia tutors for Writers Online Workshops, Writer's Digest School.

Toby Snelgrove is a freelance photographer living on Mayne Island, BC, Canada. Toby's images are available for sale individually or in a variety of forms. He is also available for photo assignments. He has exhibited his work in galleries in the Gulf Islands and in Victoria. His works have travelled to many parts of Canada  and to other countries: Australia, Japan, Ireland and Europe.

Gail Noonan of Cartoonan Films makes engaging short animations on everything from body image, menopause, square dancing to lost mittens.

Coming Home Films is a Mayne Island based Production Company founded in 1995 by Beverley Reid and Peter Kellington with the intention of producing quality programming for television.
